Yes that is normal. The reason for that is because that is when it is traveling  overseas and going through customs which can take awhile. The shipping carrier cannot track an item that is traveling overseas until it has cleared customs. Once it has landed in your country and been cleared from customs, it will update again. 

We ship orders from our fulfillment centers, (Shanghai, China) by oversea mail service. After finishing processing your order, we will send it to the shipping company and it will be completely handled by them. After arriving to your country, it will be handled by your country’s postal service.
